How Your Company Can Benefit From Internet Talk Radio

Top Talk Radio ExpertsCorporate Talk Radio, and now Corporate Talk TV have been increasingly part of the marketing mix for large and small companies alike.  One of the most important things is to determine the specific benefits to your company.

Not all companies might need a once a day, or once a week show, but that doesn’t mean they can’t benefit from embracing internet broadcast technology.  Here are some examples:

  1. Host a 13 week program highlighting your products and services.
  2. Use your show to contact and introduce your company to influencers in your marketplace.  Everyone likes to hear the sound of their own voice and a talk show provides that vehicle to get past the gatekeeper and in front of the influencers that can promote themselves AND your brand at the same time.
  3. Produce one off “radio” or “television” shows.  For example, create a show where you essentially interview YOURSELF talking about your company, products and services.
  4. Produce a series — 3 episodes, 6 episodes whatever fits your content and budget needs.  For example, interview yourself and your team members speaking directly to their departments.
  5. Be a guest on shows that are relevant to your industry or target markets.
  6. Create your own channel of talk radio and television.  One of the beautiful things about internet broadcasting is that all of the content is “archived” which is perfect for “content recycling”.  Creating your own channel can help you distinguish your brand and keep consumers engaged without necessarily having to have a full “live” broadcast schedule.

AND ALWAYS promote your broadcasts on your website, social media and via email, newsletters and other campaigns.

As more and more consumers are embracing internet broadcast radio and television not just on their desktop, but on their tablets and mobile devices it is increasingly important for your company to leverage technology as part of your content messaging and influencer marketing strategy.
